There are some things in the world that seem so pointless, or so poorly done, but they will probably never be changed. Education, finance, and medical areas are some large examples, but something similar is cities. Most cities are so dense, and this causes lots of congestion, expensive space, and many other issues. Most of this is because cities are pretty old, and there aren't many new ones. If a new city were to be made perhaps it could occupy a larger surface area, so that space could be less of an expensive or rare thing, and then have very efficient public transit so that people could live farther out in the city and be able to get everywhere. A small thought, but living in New York I think about it a lot.
