Random Thoughts of the Day: June 7th 2019

One thing that I've been noticing recently is how my perception of certain things has changed. Namely distance. I used to think that I would never in my life walk a mile. I thought that a mile was such a long distance, and that it could never be accomplished. I still feel like I don't have a real good sense of how far a mile is. Also money. Money is a thing that I either blew way out of proportion, or did the opposite. Sometimes I thought that a million dollars wasn't a lot, and then sometimes when I got a hundred dollars I was amazed at how that could even happen. Again I still sometimes have weird perceptions. Sometimes I spend a few hundred dollars at once and it's no big deal, but when I get four dollars from someone who owed it to me I feel like it's a lot. I guess it's just interesting how perception changes.
