Random Thoughts of the Day: May 30th 2019 #2

I've been thinking a lot about this thing that came to my mind a little while ago and kind of scares me now. It's the fact that at any moment something could happen that would change me forever. And not in like an emotional way, or like I could die, but more that I could lose my sight, or get some physical disability. And if that happened I would just work through it, but it's more the fact that that is just a natural part of life that so many people (I think) kind of ignore on the daily. It's this sort of thought that until you think about it for the first time, it just never gets noticed. Like a small spot on the ceiling. You don't really look for it, and you don't see it that easily, but when you notice it, it's hard to ignore it for a little while. And even though you forget about it fairly quickly, it's still there, and hard to shake out of your head. Anyways, I know that this is the second post in not that long, but I just have lots of thoughts, and I like writing them so yeah.

Random Thoughts of the Day: May 30th 2019

So I guess this is sort of new for me. Kinda just a way to get my random thoughts out, maybe start some conversations with people, or get other people talking about some things they may not normally talk about. There isn't really a specific area or genre, but really anything.
The first thing I'll bring up is this question that I've had for a little while. It's a scientific question, and a very theoretical question and I'm not super sciencey so here goes. So sound has to travel in a medium, gas, liquid, solid, all that jazz, so it can't travel in space/in a vacuum. But let's say that two people are in a vacuum, assuming for a moment that they can survive without any gear or anything, if one of them were to go up to the other and say something really close to the other's ear, would that work? Because technically the person speaking would be breathing out air as they speak. And that air would be a medium for the sound to travel through, right? And I guess that their breath could dissipate really fast and then it wouldn't work, but if they breathed very hard, and spoke in a sort of airy way, if you know what I mean, sort of talking very raspy I guess. Or maybe if you had some sort of air cannon? Like a bottle of compressed air that you sprayed out, would that carry sound? Anyways, that's that thought or question... Not much else at the moment but yeah, that's how this stuff will be probably.
